Charles Ronald Haas

Charles Ronald Haas "Ronnie" Charles Ronald Haas "Ronnie", age 71, a resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends. Ronnie was born the son of William and Mildred (Spencer) Haas on March 22, 1947, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1965 graduate of Chillicothe High School. On September 10, 1971, Ronnie was united in marriage to Frances Marie Lewis "Fran", at Chula Presbyterian Church. Ronnie spent his life dedicated to farming and his family, which includes his dog Kenzie. He was active in the Chula Presbyterian Church, Chillicothe Elks #656, the Chula Coop Board and won the Conservationist of the year in 2006. Survivors include wife, Frances of the home; one son, Jeff Westcott and wife Kati of Chula, Missouri; one daughter, Angie Stover and husband Michael of Chula, Missouri, four grandchildren Brooke Stonger and husband Derrick of Meadville, Missouri, Courtney Westcott of Chula, Missouri, and Skylar and Maci Stover of Chula, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Graham, Layton, Lexa, Tinleigh, and Kallen all of Meadville, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and one sister, Darlene Kilburn and husband Billy Joe of Columbia, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jolene (Haas) Anderson; and one brother, Darrell Haas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. A scheduled visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri on Wednesday June 27, 2018 from Noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Chula Fire Department and/or the Chillicothe FFA and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
