Charles Barber Charles Barber, age 78, a resident of Cameron Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Charles was born the son of Marshall C. and Lonia M. (Downs) Barber on July 23, 1939, in Keiser, Arkansas. He was a 1957 graduate of Holtville High School, Holtville, California. He served in the United States Navy from 1957 until 1960. He was united in marriage to Letha June McKeever on December 19, 1975, in Yuma, Arizona. She preceded him in death on August 29, 2002. Survivors include three daughters, Lila McNally and husband Gene of Chillicothe, Missouri, Cindi walker and husband Rick of Prescott, Arizona, and Tia Belt of Crescent City California; one son, Steven Barber and wife Sabrina of Holtville, California; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Skoog, Becky Walsh and husband Christopher, Derrick Johnson, Eric Johnson, Mandie Davis and husband Anthony, Chris Loftin and wife Amber, Derrick Barber, Ashlyn Barber, and Alyssa Barber; twelve great grandchildren; and one brother, Butch Barber of Washington D.C. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, June; one sister, Juanita Bullard; three brothers, William Barber, Thomas Barber, and Jerry Barber; one son, Cecil Belt; and one grandson, Kevin Belt. Graveside services will be held at Brassfield Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Brassfield Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, Missouri, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
