Cecil M. Jacobs Cecil M. Jacobs, age 70, a resident of Fountain Grove, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Cecil was born the son of Harold (Buzz) and Helen (Fugett) Jacobs on December 23, 1947, in San Diego, California. He worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union Local #110 for many years. Survivors include four sons, Joey Jacobs of Jefferson City, Missouri, Hurley Jacobs of Jefferson City, Missouri, Will Jacobs of Linn, Missouri, and Gabriel "Puna" Jacobs of Juneau, Alaska; six grandchildren, Sadie Marie Jacobs, Hurley Miles Jacobs, Jr., Shanna Maci Jacobs, Jaycie Lucero, Everett James Jacobs, and Luna Mae Jacobs; longtime companion, Beverly Chapins of the home; and one sister, Karen Ingraham and friend Mike Florez of Ocean View, Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Rickett Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
