Carolyn Elaine Garr Carolyn Elaine Garr, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at her residence. Carolyn was born the daughter of Henry "Lloyd" and Nellie Phoebe (Flenniken) Fryer on October 6, 1937 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Donald L. Garr, to this union two sons were born. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Carolyn enjoyed machine knitting, gardening, and antiquing. Survivors include two sons, Mark Garr and wife Mary, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and David Garr, of Platte City, Missouri; one sister, Lois Gastineau, of Chillicothe, Missouri; one grandson, Zachary Sterling Garr, of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother, Eldon Lloyd Fryer; and one sister, Maurine Fryer Elliott. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
