Carolyn "Carol" Louise Carr

Carolyn "Carol" Louise Carr Carolyn "Carol" Louise Carr, age 63, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at her residence. Carol was born the daughter of Raymond Andrew and Vada Marie (Duggins) Upshaw on December 21, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kansas. She was a 1969 graduate of Washington High School, Kansas City, Kansas. Carol worked as a Bookkeeper at Moore Monument Company for 11 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, going to garage sales, thrift stores, her dogs, Kemea and Tete, and turtle, George. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Warren Carr and wife Tammara of St. Joseph, Missouri; one granddaughter, Courtney Carr of St. Joseph, Missouri; four brothers, Billy Ray Upshaw and wife Marge of Hamilton, Missouri, Frederick Alva Upshaw of Hamilton, Missouri, Donnie Turner of Kansas City, Missouri, and Danny Harvey of Liberal, Kansas; one sister, Lettie Sue Harvey of Kansas City, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by longtime friend, Tiffany Palmer of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina Louise Broward; sister, Margaret (Marty) Cordray; and two brothers, Steven Bunker and Terry Bunker. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, June 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Trotter Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
