Carole Ann Jenkins, age 73, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Grand River Health Care, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Carole Ann was born the daughter of Jesse and Helen (Wayman) Jenkins on September 21, 1945, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was a 1963 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Carole Ann and the residents of Jenkins Townhouse have been to every state except four on their vacations. She enjoyed crafts, painting, and growing plants. Her greatest joy was Christmas at Jenkins Townhouse. This tradition started when she was a child.
Survivors include three cousins, Brian Austin, Greg Austin of Kirkwood, Missouri, and Peggy Shelby of Independence, Missouri and dear friends: Barbara Baer of Chillicothe, Missouri, Alice Ferguson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Helen Griffin of Chillicothe, Missouri, Charlene and Alvin Thompson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Amanda Fay Moore of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Allison Tignon of Overland Park, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at May Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
