Carol Milford Passley Carol Milford Passley, age 76, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, June 17, 2011. Carol was born daughter of Raymond L. and Cleo (Millsap) Milford on April 17, 1935 in Sumner, Missouri. She graduated from Northwestern High School of Mendon, Missouri in 1952. She married Larry Passley on July 26, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1991. Carol worked as a Claim Agent for Churchill Truck Lines. She was a member of the Sumner United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star in Sumner, Missouri. Carol was a breast cancer survivor and has always been a supporter of the American Cancer Society. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Jayhawks Basketball fan. She loved planting flowers, enjoying her cats and collecting angels. Carol will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends. Carol is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Milford of Chillicothe, Missouri and R. D. Milford of Laclede, Missouri; one sister, Dorothy West of Brookfield, Missouri; an aunt, Betty Adkins of Carrollton, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A family visitation is scheduled at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Monday, June 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
