Carol Ruth Hunter Carol Ruth Hunter, age 53, a resident of Raytown, Missouri, won her battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri. Carol was born on July 19, 1960, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Carol served our country in the United States Army. She was united in marriage to Gerald Hunter on March 1, 1994, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survived of the home. She worked as a security officer at Guardsmark in Kansas City, Missouri, for two years. Carol was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #21. She loved riding motorcycles and loved her dogs Yukon, Sassy, and Cinnamon. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Hunter; two daughters, Jessica Bonham of Raytown, Missouri, and Monja Hunter of Ohio; one son Joshua Hunter of Calcutta, West Virginia; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant son Dakota James Ray Hunter. Graveside services were held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, on Sunday, February 16, 2014.
