Carol Sue Hanks Carol Sue Hanks, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away May 27, 2012, at Indian Hills Nursing Home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Livingston County, Missouri, on September 28, 1936, the daughter of Jimmie and Olga Mae (Newton) Graham. On July 25, 2000, she married John Hanks, who survives her. Survivors include her husband, John Hanks of Chillicothe, Missouri; four daughters, Wanda Robbins of Chillicothe, Missouri, Dena Hibdon of Chillicothe, Missouri, Kay Grell and husband Rick of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Desi Batchelar and husband Dennis of Lathrop; four stepdaughters: Carla Chambers and husband Larry of Trenton, Missouri, Heather Williams and husband Dave of Liberty, Missouri, Barb Woodruff of Warrenton, Missouri, and Nancy Carol and husband Ron of Holt Summit, Missouri; two sisters, Norma Jones and husband Frank of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Judy Hutchinson and husband Paul of Dawn, Missouri; grandchildren Sandy Leppin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brian Wigfield of Olathe, Kansas, Michael Dykes of Utica, Missouri, Cory Chambers, Brook Williams, C.J. Williams, T.J. Bethards and Shelby Bethards; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. A family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in Parson Creek Cemetery in Linn County, Missouri.
