Carl Duane Ireland Carl Duane Ireland, age 55, resident of rural Laredo, Missouri, passed away August 31, 2011, at his residence, in the presence of his family and Hospice nurse Veronica. He was born the son of Floyd and Wilda (Stith) Ireland, on October 20, 1955 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Carl attended grade school at Livingston County R-3 in Chula, Missouri and graduated from Chillicothe High School 1974. He married Vida (Dee) Ann Blythe on August 22, 1976, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked as a machinist at De Laval Manufacturing, Chillicothe, Missouri for ten years. He was a mechanic for Davis and Son Automotive, Barnes-Baker Motors, and He and his dad Floyd owned and operated Ireland Service Center in Chula for many years. He was a Chula City Councilman for sixteen years, and a past member of the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association. He was also a member of the Chula Baptist Church. Carl is survived by three daughters, Melissa Ireland and Scotty Bowes of Avalon, Missouri, Michelle Ireland of Laredo, Missouri, and Melody Ireland of Laredo, Missouri; two grandchildren Jackson Bowes of Avalon, Missouri, and Kamden Ireland of Laredo, Missouri; his mother Wilda Ireland of Chula, Missouri; and two sisters, Vicky Duckworth and husband Kenny of Chula, Missouri, Sherry Gooden and husband Randy "Ramjet" of Chillicothe, Missouri; two nephews Brandon & Jeremy Duckworth of Chula, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston county Historical Society or to Hedrick Medical Center Hospice, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
