Carl Lee Howe

Carl Lee Howe, Sr. Carl Lee Howe, Sr., age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at his residence. Carl was born the son of Virgil Howe and Juanita Burton on September 18, 1936, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy from 1954 until 1957 during the Korean War. Carl was a proud veteran. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing, and loved his family and grandchildren. Survivors include four sons; Paul Howe of Kansas City, Missouri, Carl Howe Jr. of Chillicothe, Missouri, William Howe and wife Rosanna of Dawn, Missouri, Wesley Howe and wife Connie of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters Eva Kay "Katie" Shaw and husband Al of Phoenix, Arizona, and Waunita Johnson and husband Les of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one brother Virgil "Jay" Howe and wife Helen of Chillicothe, Missouri; and one sister Sharon Shobe of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister Mary Lungreen.
