Carl Oliver Hines

Carl O. Hines, age 83, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, January 1, 2011. Carl was born the son of William and Martha (McDonald) Hines on August 11, 1927 in Chula, Missouri. Carl was a 1944 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He was a member of the United States Air Force and retired after more than 20 years of service. Survivors include one sister, Ruby Lewis of Kansas City, Missouri; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John Hines, Adren Hines, and Warren Hines; and four sisters, Lucille, Hildred, Helen, and Lilly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
