Candy Jane (Nichols) Vanderpool Candy Jane (Nichols) Vanderpool, age 51, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. Candy was born the daughter of Darryl Gene and Cathryn Lucille (Evans) Nichols on May 11, 1961, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a member of Breckenridge Baptist Church and graduated from Breckenridge High School. Candy lived most of her life in Breckenridge and enjoyed working with older residents at various area nursing homes as a Certified Medical Technician. Candy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was daddy's girl who knick named her "Moe". You had to love Moe because of her crazy personality. She always left a lasting memory with whomever she met and will be forever remembered and greatly missed by many. I love you to the moon and back, mom. She is survived by three sons, Nicholas Hormell, Tyler Trammell, both of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Cameron Richey of Breckenridge, Missouri; two daughters, C.J. Hormell of Breckenridge, Missouri, and Kati Johnson, Braymer, Missouri; six grandchildren, and one grandchild due in February; one sister, Cindy Nichols, Breckenridge, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Cathy McIntire and Billie Lea Nichols; and one brother Cody Joe Nichols. Graveside services will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Friday, November 30, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhome.com .
