Brenda Rose Tharp Brenda Rose Tharp, age 62, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, in Spickard, Missouri. Brenda was born the daughter of Donald Eugene and Rose Marie (Klingensmith) Washburn on December 26, 1955, in Trenton, Missouri. She was a 1972 graduate of Trenton High School. Brenda worked as a scheduling coordinator and dietary supervisor at Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, Missouri, for many years. She also worked as a secretary for North 65 Center in Trenton, Missouri, for 4 years, where she operated North 65 Center Bingo. Brenda loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Michael Washburn of Laredo, Missouri, and Alan Tharp and wife Jamie of Spickard, Missouri; one daughter, Ashley Tharp and Warren Roberts of Galt, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Keegan and Kolby Washburn, Caden, Jack, and Alice Tharp, and Hannah, Wesley, and Addisyn Roberts; three brothers, Donnie Washburn and wife Joyce of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Brad Washburn and wife Timmy of Trenton, Missouri, and David Washburn and wife Kris of Trenton, Missouri; one uncle, Nelson Washburn of California, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and significant other, Stephen "Steve" (Pete) Peterie. A graveside service will be held at Richardson Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri, on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Action of Overland Park, Kansas, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
