Brenda Buttman

Brenda Rose Buttman Brenda Rose Buttman, age 57, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at her residence. Brenda was born the daughter of Donald Lee and Vella (Linville) Buttman on May 22, 1958, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1976 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She earned an Accounting Certificate from Chillicothe Vo Tech in 1976. She then attended DeVry University in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Sciences. After graduation, she lived in Kansas City, Missouri until 1984. She then moved to Hayward, California until 2006. In 2006, Brenda moved back to Chillicothe, Missouri. From 2007 to 2015, she worked for the Livingston County Humane Society in Chillicothe. She was a Christian and made her profession of faith and was baptized at the age of 10 at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe. While in attendance at First Baptist Church, she was very active and did lay witnessing with her high school Sunday school class. She was a member of 4-H, played the clarinet in the band, and was a majorette for the Chillicothe High School Marching Band. She enjoyed playing the piano and taught piano lessons after graduation. Survivors include, one daughter Angela Arcuri of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and one granddaughter Amber Arcuri; Angela was adopted at birth by Jim and Sue Goodale of Cameron, Missouri; mother, Vella Bonderer and stepfather Walter Bonderer of Chillicothe, Missouri; father, Donald and stepmother Pilar Buttman of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, David Lee Buttman and wife Jenny of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Donald Lee Buttman, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and one aunt, Madonna Tiemeyer and husband Alvin of Meadville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fred and Opal Linville; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Imogene Buttman. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 2, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, November 1, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, November 1, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
