Boyd Martin Gabel Boyd Martin Gabel, age 55, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at his residence. Boyd was born October 30, 1958 to Floyd and Estelle (Krummel) Gabel. They survive of the home. He leaves behind his daughter Maddison Marie Gabel, who was the love of his life. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1977 and attended Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was a friend to all who met him. He is survived by his sisters and brother and their spouses, Gloria Warren, Gerry Gabel and wife Pam, Lisa Sager and friend Tripp Allen and Angela Poling and husband Kelly. He is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews, Adam Warren and wife Melanie, Christopher Warren and wife Libby, Jessica Johnston and husband Jason, Brett Gabel and friend Cori Grimes, Brooke Rutstein and husband Brandon, Bradee Gabel, Kacy, Craig and Krista Sager, and Gabriel and McKenna Poling. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Melody Gabel and Cynthia Gabel, maternal grandparents August and Katherine Krummel, paternal grandparents Martin and Lillian Gabel, four uncles, Darold Gabel, Edward Krummel, Walter Krummel, and Bill Moore, three aunts, Glorianna Moore, Mercedes Gabel and Ruth Krummel. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a family visitation one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, July 25, 2014, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
