Bonnie Louise Woods (Faubion) Bonnie Louise Woods (Faubion) age 80, a resident of Lees Summit, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Bonnie was born the daughter of James Thomas Doyle and Jerusha "Jerry" (Howe) Wells on May 20, 1934, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Faubion in 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. While living in Chillicothe Bonnie worked as an LPN at Hedrick Medical Center, and later opened an Insurance Company where she worked as an Insurance Agent. In 1972 she moved to Davenport, Iowa where she met Bill Woods. They were united in marriage in 1973 in Davenport, Iowa. In 1974 they moved from Davenport, Iowa, to Kansas City, Kansas, where they made their home for 25 years. After the passing of her husband in 2003, Bonnie moved to Lees Summit to be closer to family. Bonnie was an avid gardener, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter Nedra Smith and husband Steve of Lees Summit, Missouri; two grandchildren Melissa Atkinson of Raymore, Missouri, and Jayson Jones of Belton, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Tanner Atkinson, Libby Atkinson, Erica Jones, Rayna Jones, Savannah Jones, and Liam Jones; one brother Ray Downing and wife Linda of Lees Summit, Missouri; and two nephews Andy and Alex Downing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill Woods; daughter Debra Faubion; son Joseph Silkwood; and brother Eugene Downing. A private family graveside service will be held at Anderson Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 22, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Columban's Catholic Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
