Bonnie J. Stephenson, age 81, a resident of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Bonnie was born the daughter of Lawrence M. and Bernice (Gray) Anderson on August 14, 1939, in Livingston County, Missouri. She was a 1958 graduate of Tina-Avalon High School. She was united in marriage to Roger D. Stephenson on May 29, 1964, in Ludlow, Missouri. He survives of the home. Bonnie worked as a cook at Southwest School for many years. She was a member of the Ludlow Community Church, Ludlow, Missouri, where she founded children's church, along with Pastor Joe Brown. She served as an election judge for the Monroe Township. Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren, her flower gardens, cooking and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Stephenson of Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri; one son, Kyle Stephenson and wife Kelly of Overland Park, Kansas; one daughter, Jill Seaman and husband Mark of Mooresville, Missouri; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and three sisters, Barbara Allen of Chillicothe, Missouri, Shirley Thomas of Rolla, Missouri, and Trudy Anderson of Oskaloosa, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Anderson; one sister, Joyce Radabaugh; and three brothers-in-law, John Radabaugh, David Allen, and Bob Thomas.
Graveside services will be held at McCoskrie Cemetery, Ludlow, Missouri, on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ludlow Community Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
