Bonnie Rese Dent

Bonnie Dent Bonnie Dent, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Bonnie was born the daughter of Jesse and Myrtle (Gilgour) McMurtrey on August 30, 1935, in Kootenai, Idaho. Bonnie was a 1942 graduate of Mooresville High School, Mooresville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Dent on August 16, 1956, at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe. He survives of the home. Bonnie worked as at Lambert Glove Factory, in Chillicothe for many years and later worked as a cook for the Chillicothe School District. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, and participated in Meals on Wheels Delivery. Bonnie loved cooking and sewing, and was an avid animal lover. Survivors include husband Lloyd Dent of Chillicothe, Missouri; daughter Cheryl Dent of Chillicothe, Missouri; family friend, Raymond Keith of Chillicothe, Missouri; cousin Jeanne Taylor and son Dave of Meadville, Missouri; and sister-in-law Betty Saale of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William and Leonard McMurtrey; and one sister Eva McMurtrey. Funeral service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
