Bobbie Joe Corbin Bobbie Joe Corbin, age 76, a resident of Dawn, Missouri, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Bobbie was born on August 27, 1937 in Braymer, Missouri, the son of Leland and Elma (Marlin) Corbin. Bobbie engaged in farming following graduating from Braymer High School. On June 30, 1961 he was united in marriage to Patsy Barron, who survives of the home. To their union two sons were born, David Scott and Nelson Todd Corbin. Bobbie also was engaged in painting, worked on the railroad and then worked for General Motors Assembly (Leeds plant) in Kansas City, Missouri, retiring with 25 years of service when the plant closed after which he returned to part time farming. Bobbie was a 51 year member of the Dawn Masonic Lodge #539. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and basically all outdoor activities. He was a "people person" and loved visiting with others. Survivors include his wife Patsy of the home; two sons, David Corbin and wife Lugenis of Dawn, Missouri, and Todd Corbin of Dawn, Missouri; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Don Corbin of Braymer, Missouri; and one sister, Beverly Fuller of Osborn, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson Tim Corbin. Funeral services will be held at the Enon Baptist Church, Enon, Missouri, on Friday, May 23, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 22, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 22, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Enon Cemetery, Enon, Missouri.
