Blanche Lila Prewitt Blanche Lila Prewitt, age 91, a resident of Galt, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton, Missouri. Blanche was born the daughter of William "Bill" and Mary (Chrisman) Boyers on August 2, 1924, in Lindley, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Prewitt on January 3, 1942, in Trenton, Missouri, he preceded her in death on February 8, 1991. Blanche was a homemaker and very devoted to her family. She was a member of the Galt Baptist Church and for more than fifteen years she enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center in Trenton. She also loved to sew, quilt, and do embroidery. Survivors include: one daughter, Lila McCully Neill and husband Butch of Trenton, Missouri; one son-in-law, Gary Browning of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Pugh of Trenton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Rhonda Browning and husband E.W. of Marshall, Missouri, Bobby McCully and wife Ali of Milan, Missouri, Donnie McCully and wife Jennifer of Trenton, Missouri, Johnny Browning of Kansas City, Missouri, and Shelly Browning of Kansas City, Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Shirley Browning; one son-in-law, Donald McCully; two grandsons, Ronald Dean McCully, and Robert Lee Browning; and four sisters, Kathryn Carver, Rosie Anderson, Helen Boyers, and Gertrude Boyers. Funeral services will be held at the Galt Baptist Church, Galt, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. There will be a family visitation at the Galt Baptist Church, Galt, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home on Monday, February 29, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage or Galt Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
