Bill R. Swindler, age 65, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at his home in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 19, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was born the son of Henry and Colene (Lewellen) Swindler, on February 28, 1945, in Cowgill, Missouri. He was a 1963 graduate of Breckenridge High School. On May 17, 1964, he married his wife of 45 years, Judy Pschirer, in Breckenridge, Missouri. She survives of the home. Bill was a Corrections Officer for the Western Missouri Correctional Center for over 20 years. He attended the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri and was a member of Chillicothe Elks Club 656 and the Chillicothe Car Club. Bill loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by two daughters, Shelli Jones and husband Mark of Independence, Missouri and Nicki Barnes and husband Steven of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandsons, Dylan McClellan and Mitchell Jones of Independence, Missouri; two brothers, Jess Swindler and wife Helen of Hamilton, Missouri and John Swindler of Braymer, Missouri; one aunt, Gerry Lewellen of Blue Springs, Missouri; two brother-in-laws, Larry Shear and wife Virginia of Kearney, Missouri and Ray Pschirer and wife Gayla of Kearney, Missouri; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a family visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Lodge, Kansas City, Missouri and/or First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
