Billy J. Maberry age 82, resident of Dawn, Missouri passed away Monday, December 6, 2010, at his residence in Dawn, Missouri. He was born son of James and Reva (Perry) Maberry on January 8, 1928 in Blue Mound, Missouri. Billy served in the United States Air Force and served between World War II and the Korean conflict. On July 21, 1956 Bill married Carolyn Joan Sykes in Kidder, Missouri. She survives him of the home. Bill loved to read and spend time with his family. He loved to ride his horse, especially in the yearly Pony Express Ride. Bill enjoyed reliving the traditions of yesteryear such as threshing, guns, steam engines, and cattle drives. Bill is also survived by two sons, Stanley William Maberry and wife Tammy of Dawn, Missouri, James Athel Maberry and wife Connie of Dawn, Missouri; two daughters, Elizabeth Jen Lowrey and husband Kris of Pattonsburg, Missouri, Melissa Ann Bealer and husband Rod of Boonville; twelve grandchildren, Kimberly and Casey Maberry of Dawn, Missouri, Aaron Maberry and wife Samantha of Columbia, Missouri, Jennifer Maberry of Columbia, Missouri, Jonathan Lowrey of Kansas City, Missouri, Chelsey Cain and husband Jeremy of Saint Joseph, Missouri, Travis Lowrey of Springfield, Missouri, Dillon Lowrey of Pattonsburg, Laci Bealer of Boonville, Missouri, Cortney Bealer of Boonville, Missouri, Dalton Bealer of Boonville, Missouri, Katheryn Bealer of Boonville, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Scott William Maberry of Trenton, Jarett Trey Cain of Saint Joseph, Missouri. He is also survived by two brothers, Bob Maberry of Liberty, Missouri, Tom Maberry of Harrisonville, Missouri; one sister June Lazure of Great Falls, Montana. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Steven Granville Maberry and his brother James "Dick" Maberry. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. A family visitation is scheduled at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, December 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Blue Mound Cemetery, Dawn, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made to Maberry Children's Education fund and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to P.O.
