Billy Edward Campbell Billy Edward Campbell, age 84, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer Missouri, with all of his family by his side. Billy was born the son of Clarence and Mildred Ada (Wicks) Campbell on March 23, 1932, in St. Clair County, Missouri. He served in the United States Marine Corp. Billy was united in marriage to Evelyn (Gwin) Campbell on May 5, 1957, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Billy was a farmer for many years. He was a member of the building committee of the Liberty Church, and the Washington Township, where he also served in the past as a trustee. Billy enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, mushroom hunting, and farming. He also loved his family and community. Survivors include wife, Evelyn Campbell of the home; four daughters, Brenda Sue Burk of Kansas City, Missouri, Diana Marie Romeiser of Utica, Missouri, Carol Jennette Greener of Chula, Missouri, Cheryl Jean Mathews of Wheeling, Missouri; one son, Robert Dean Campbell of Braymer, Missouri; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Lester Campbell of Braymer, Missouri; five sisters, Gladys Babock, Nadine Irvin, Goldie Stewart, Betty Sue Thoeni, and Barb Clevenger. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Liberty United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bill Campbell Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
