Beverly Ostervich

Beverly Ostervich, age 61, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was born December 14, 1948 in Braymer, Missouri the daughter of Robert and Waynette (Michael) Stubblefield. She was a 1966 graduate of Braymer High School and a 1971 graduate of Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri with a Bachelors of Science degree in Education. On November 24, 1972, she married Ed Ostervich in Braymer, Missouri. He survives of the home. She completed graduate hours towards her Masters of Science degree in Education from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. Beverly taught kindergarten in the Braymer C-4 School District for 29 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Braymer, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, showing and training horses, and spending time with her grandsons and family. She is also survived by her mother Waynette Stubblefield of Braymer, Missouri; her daughter Christy Christiansen and son-in-law Joseph of Independence, Missouri; three grandsons, Riley, Carter, and Garrett Christiansen of Independence, Missouri; and one sister Nancy Hudgins of Mooresville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert and her son, Scotty. There will be a memorial service at the United Methodist Church in Braymer, Missouri on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beverly Ostervich Memorial Scholarship Fund and left at the church or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
