Beulah "Bea" L. Rutherford

Beulah "Bea" L. Rutherford Beulah "Bea" L. Rutherford, age 95, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Bea was born the daughter of Wesley Dean and Ida Ellen (Dennison) Davis on July 19, 1918, in Braymer, Missouri. She was a 1937 graduate of Norborne High School, Norborne, Missouri. Bea was united in marriage to William D. Rutherford on March 18, 1963, in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1982. She was a member of the Braymer United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the 1918 Club in Kansas City. Survivors include one step daughter, Ida Laughlin; four step grandchildren, Arlette Bates, Danny Rasco, Shelly Putnam, and Travis McCormick; eleven step great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren; one brother, Eugene "Gene" Davis and wife Frances of Lexington, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Betty Davis of Chillicothe, Missouri; one aunt, Mary Sue Davis of Norborne, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William D. Rutherford; and one brother, Clifford Davis. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, May 18, 2014, prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, May 17, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri.
