Betty J. Vaughn Betty J. Vaughn, age 83, a Braymer, Missouri resident, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, Missouri. Betty was born daughter of Claude Franklin and Neva Pearl (Bisel) McBee on March 25, 1928 in Braymer, Missouri. On March 25, 1944 she married Cleo W. Vaughn in Olathe, Kansas. He survives her of the home. She was a homemaker and a member of Golden Girls. Betty is survived by a brother Lavere McBee and wife Mary of Braymer, Missouri; two sisters Ruby Holder of Braymer, Missouri and Rachel Hughes of Brookfield, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Grace Hays, and brother Arthur McBee. A funeral service will be held at Braymer Christian Church, Braymer Missouri, on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A family visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call on Friday, August 5, 2011 after 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
