Betty June Sallee, age 91, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Betty was born the daughter of George and Flora (Woods) Mantlo on September 28, 1929, in Chula, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Gerald H. Sallee in August of 1958. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Hebert and husband Weldon of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Loraine Ricehouse of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Lena Cooksey and husband Donald of Laredo, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald Sallee; sisters, Eunice Funk and her twin, Mary Lou Gorman; infant brother, Richard Joel Mantlo; and brother, William "Bill" Joseph Mantlo.
Graveside services will be held at Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri, on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Chillicothe and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
