Betty Louise Constant Betty Louise Constant, age 80, a resident of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away on, Friday, March 7, 2014, at her residence. Betty was born the daughter of Luther and Gladys (Hughes) Nibarger on October 17, 1933, in Livingston County, Missouri. She was a 1951 graduate of Dawn High School, Dawn, Missouri. Betty became a member of the Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, at the age of ten, where she was baptized in a creek behind the Church. She was married to Jack Thompson for 15 years. To this union three children were born, Kathleen Sue Winters, Clifford Alan Thompson, and Cynthia Lynn Barnes. She was then united in marriage to John Constant on December 28, 1969, in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home. Betty worked as a Seamstress at Midwest Gloves for 46 years, until her retirement on September 23, 2010. Survivors include her husband, John of the home; one son, Clifford Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Cindy Barnes and husband Mike of Franklin, Illinois; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Catalett of Kirksville, Missouri, Shirley Claybrooke of Hollister, Missouri, and Joyce Austin of Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kathy Winters; and one sister, Alice Levett. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, March 10, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
