Betty Ruth Arnold

Betty Arnold Betty Ruth Arnold age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, passed away on July 24, 2011 in Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Betty was born daughter of Elmer and Grace (Archer) Mangold on January 12, 1929 in Dalton, Missouri. On December 24, 1950 she married Dale Arnold in Ames, Iowa. He survives her of the home. Betty was a homemaker and served as president of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of and very active in the United Methodist Church of Chillicothe and taught Sunday school there. She also enjoyed antiquing. Betty is survived by her son Alan Arnold and wife Carol of Columbia, Missouri and two grandchildren, Ian and Christopher Arnold of Columbia, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dr. Harold Mangold. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe on July 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. A family visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Lindley Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to House of Prayer, or a charity of choice and may be mailed to or left at Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
