Benny Lee Frederick Kelsall

Benny Lee Frederick Kelsall Benny Lee Frederick Kelsall, age 78, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Benny was born the son of Alfred E. and Gladys E. (Kopp) Kelsall on August 15, 1937, in Fairview, Kansas. He was a 1955 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Benny was united in marriage to Darletta Rose Hickman on July 31, 1959, in Trenton, Missouri. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2012. Benny worked for Wire Rope Corporation in Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. He was a member of the Chillicothe Eagles Aerie No. 2428 and the Chillicothe Elks Lodge 656. He enjoyed playing pool and was a Gold Wing Road Rider of Chapter B of Virginia Member. Survivors include two daughters, Jenetta Davis and husband Jim of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Rosalie Ruff of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two grandchildren, Shannon Marie Ruff of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dustin Allen Grice of Beloit, Wisconsin; and two brothers, Calvin Kelsall and Tim Kelsall both of Kirksville, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darletta; sister, Rayma Ireland; and brother, Dawn Kelsall. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
