Beatrice Irene Bannan Beatrice Irene Bannan, age 88, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, former resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Beatrice was born the daughter of Ollen and Lucille (Richardson) Figg on July 30, 1926, in Hale, Missouri. She was a 1944 graduate of Hale High School, Hale, Missouri. She was united in marriage to James Francis Bannan Jr. on July 10, 1946, in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2010. Beatrice worked as a teacher in Livingston and Carroll County rural schools. She was a member of the Hale Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school. She was also active in Hale PTA and the Sunshine Neighbors Club. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Printz of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Jayme Caughron and husband Lee of Hale, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jeremy Gilpin and wife Ellie of Warrensburg, Jessica Bradfield of Warrensburg, and Jacob Caughron, Hale; four great-grandchildren, Kelli, Haden, and Kennisen Gilpin, and Camden Bradfield of Warrensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Francis Bannan Jr.; three brothers, Harold, Lloyd, and Donald Figg; and one sister, Helen Hensley. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Friday, May 8, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Hale Cemetery, Hale, Missouri.
