Barbara Ann Worman Barbara Ann Worman, age 73, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. Barbara was born the daughter of John W. and Margaret F. (Shifflet) Via on November 21, 1939, in Grottoes, Virginia. She was united in marriage to Loren Layne Worman on May 30, 1959, in Strausstown, Pennsylvania. He survives of the home. She worked as a CNA for Hedrick Medical Center and The Baptist Home for many years. She attended church in Hale, Missouri. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barbara had a strong faith in God. Survivors include her husband Loren of the home; four sons, Gary Layne Worman of Hale, Missouri, Gordon Scott Worman and wife Martina Jo of Hale, Missouri, Faron Scott Worman and wife Misty Dawn of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Daniel James Worman and wife Kattie Marie of Hale, Missouri; two daughters, Lori Ann McLaughlin and husband Patrick of Olathe, Kansas, and Anita Jean Grant-Acklin and husband Michael of Hale, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren, Jaci Grant, Katie Worman, Trenton Worman, Alexy Grant, Lauryn McLaughlin, Tyler Acklin, Tristyn Grant, Drake McLaughlin, Layne Worman, Alivia Acklin, Madison Worman, Hannah Acklin, Alisyn Worman, Emily Worman, Lily Worman, Charli Jo Worman, Presley Worman, and Henley Worman; three great grandchildren, Grant Sheetz, Bryson Briner, and Mason Briner; four brothers, John W. Via, Jr. of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, Richard Scott Via of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, Kenneth G. Via of Grantville, Pennsylvania, and Steven M. Via of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; and one sister Carol Nye of Benton, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Betty Jean Via, Christina (Faye) Burdge, Wanda Via, and Paula Via; and one brother, Jeffrey L. Via. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri.
