Barbara A. Morrill Barbara A. Morrill, age 72, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. Barbara was born the daughter of Lloyd and Hazel (Cline) Bernette on December 29, 1944, in Hamilton, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Jack Morrill on March 18, 1985. He survives of the home. Barbara worked as a machine operator for Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton, Missouri, for 15 years. She enjoyed knitting, putting puzzles together, and when her health would allow it, she enjoyed gardening. She loved watching Wheel of Fortune, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Jack of the home; three sons, Joe Pemberton of Independence, Missouri, Tracy Burriss of Kansas City, Missouri, and Tim Burriss of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Laurie Burriss of Independence, Missouri, and Jackie Key of Carthage, Missouri; two stepsons, Bart Morrill of East Prairie, Missouri, and Brock Morrill of Braymer, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Lisa Miller of South Carolina, and Sabra Ems of South Carolina, Missouri; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Bernette of Joplin, Missouri, and Donny Bernette of Florida; and one sister, Carolyn Ashman of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Viola Holt; and one brother, Jim Bernette. Funeral services will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Saturday, March 25, 2017, one hour prior to the service at 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Hamilton, Missouri.
