Barbara Haywood

Barbara Ann Haywood, age 93, a resident of Carrollton, Missouri formerly of Hale, Missouri passed away on Thursday July 9, 2020 at Life Care Center of Carrollton.
Barbara was born the daughter of Frank Carlstrom and Rose Bernice Barnett on November 13, 1926 in rural Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. She graduated high school in Ohio and then graduated from the Moody Bible Institute - Chicago, Illinois in 1949. She was united in marriage to Dean Miller Haywood Sr. on January 15, 1949 in Akron, Ohio. He preceded her in death. Barbara worked as a nurse's aide at Logan Regional Medical center in Logan, Utah. She was very active in her church teaching Sunday school, helping with Children's ministry and mission projects.

Survivors include: one son Dean Miller Haywood Jr. of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Ruth Rogers and husband George of Carrollton, Missouri and Lonnie Ann Jacobs of Crow Agency, Montana, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Dale Barnett.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home in Hale, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home Hale, Missouri on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from Noon until 6:00 p.m.  Burial will be held at Hale Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritans Purse and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home P.O. Box 47 Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
