Barbara Bryan
Barbara Bryan, age 78, a resident of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Mooresville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at The Heritage of Overland Park, Overland Park, Kansas.
Barbara was born the daughter of Walter and Elsie (Rothwell) Richards on September 24, 1942, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She graduated from Lamar High School, Lamar, Missouri. After graduation, she attended Northwest Missouri State University, where she met her soon to be husband, Kent H. Bryan. She was united in marriage to Kent on August 22, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri. They were married 51 years. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2016. Later in life, Barbara attended North Central Missouri College, where she earned her Associates Degree. She worked as an administrative secretary for Head Start in Trenton, Missouri, for over 20 years. Barbara enjoyed going square dancing and spending time at the lake with her husband, Kent. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and reading.
Survivors include one son, Jeffrey Bryan and wife Kellie of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Terri Feiden and husband Chris of Gallatin, Missouri; five grandchildren, Aubrey Feiden, Allison Bryan, Payton Feiden, Ashley Feiden, and Brooke Bryan; one brother, Gordon Richards of the Kansas City area; one sister, Nadine Hall of Los Angeles, California; many nieces; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Kent.
Private family services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mooresville Fire Department and/or the Mooresville Community Center and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
