B. "Marie" Clark

B. "Marie" Clark B. "Marie" Clark, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her three children. Marie was born the daughter of Gard Lewis and Loretta Marilla (Herbert) Shaw on June 14, 1934, in Grundy County, Missouri. She lived most of her life in Grundy and Livingston Counties in Missouri. She attended Trenton schools and was especially interested in music. Her love of music was shared by her brother, Don Shaw, and together they competed in local talent shows. In her adult life, she was a mother and homemaker and later worked for Jess and Helen Jenkins at The Jenkins Home for Girls and Boys for 11 years until it closed. After that, she was employed for 16 years by Community Options assisting in the homes of developmentally disabled clients before retiring in 2007. She was a member of St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include two sons, Danny Wynne Clark and wife Karen of Springfield, Missouri, and Michael L. Clark and wife JoEllen of Chillicothe, Missouri, one daughter, Sherry Hecker and husband Bobby of Chillicothe, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Erin Niles and husband Mark of Columbia, Missouri, Emily Clark of Columbia, Missouri, Shawn Clark and wife Amy of Chillicothe, Missouri, Emmy MacMillan and husband Jeff of Raymore, Missouri, Chalena Clark and Mikah Jo Clark of Chillicothe, Missouri, Brian Hecker of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Brett Hecker and wife Mendi of Columbia, Missouri; three step grandchildren, Brandi Thompson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Brooke Goodson of Kansas City, Missouri, and Bev (Derrick) Allen of Chillicothe, Missouri; twelve great grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; three nieces, Cathy Terziz and husband Vince of Kansas City, Missouri, Charlotte Hoskins of Trenton, Missouri, and Carol Schmidt and husband Mark of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several great nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Herbert L., Charles, and Donald Shaw; and one sister-in-law, Sylvia Shaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
