Arlone Ann Vinson Arlone Ann Vinson, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Ann was born the daughter of Andrew and Mabel Rae (Hall) Sprouse on November 19, 1920, in Breckenridge, Missouri. She was a 1940 graduate of Ludlow High School, Ludlow, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Gerald Vinson on December 24, 1940. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2007. Ann was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where she often volunteered in many different classes and activities. She was also a volunteer for the Boy Scouts Chapter. Survivors include two sons, David Vinson of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Thomas Vinson of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter Patricia Shuppert of Pleasanton, California; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one brother Ben Sprouse. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald Vinson; two brothers Carmack Sprouse and Thomas Sprouse; and one sister Amanda Garlick. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the House of Prayer Rescue Mission and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
