Anna L. Houston, age 86, a former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton, Missouri on Sunday, July 18, 2010. Anna was born December 31, 1923 the daughter of Carl and Julia (Worley) Bowman in Collinsville, Missouri. On March 13, 1943 she married William F. Houston in Unionville, Missouri. She is survived by her husband, William Houston of Carrollton, Missouri; two daughters, Deana Carr and husband Tom of Yukon, Oklahoma, Dorothy Thrasher and husband Joseph of Blue Springs, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, Kirk Houston of Kirksville, Missouri, Carla Tucker of Oak Harbor, Washington, Kim Houston of Hallsville, Missouri, Chris Houston of Newtown, Missouri, Jeanie Coin of Newtown, Missouri, Rebecca Licon of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Springston, Jr., of Chillicothe, Missouri, Frank Springston of Nashville, Tennessee, Grace Atchison of Milledgeville, Georgia, Shane Houston and Shawn Houston of Ames, Iowa, Cheryl Stephens of DeSoto, Kansas, and Karen McCune of Salanis, California; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Marion Houston.
