Anna Ruth Hall

Anna R. Hall, age 91, a resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011, at her home surrounded by family. Anna was born in Livingston County, Missouri, on May 16, 1920, the daughter of August and Mary (Muck) Koehly. She was united in marriage to Marvin Hall on January 2, 1937. She worked as a prison guard for the Missouri Department of Corrections and lived most of her life in the Chula area. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She loved her family above anything else and enjoyed crocheting and reading. Survivors include two sons, Jim Hall and wife Wilma of Chula, Missouri, and Larry Hall and wife Sandy of Laclede, Missouri; two daughters, Shirley J. (Hall) Yardley and husband Ronald of Meadville, Missouri, and Margie(Hall) Marriott of Chillicothe, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Beth (Yardley) Willard, Jayne (Yardley) Alkire and husband Jim, Cindy (Hall) Allen and husband Brian, Marcia (Hall) Pithan and husband Joe, Jamie (Hall) McDonnal, Sara (Hall) Carr and husband Jim, Wayne Marriott and wife Pam, Matt Marriott and wife Janet, Charlene (Marriott) Constant and husband Vern, Danielle White, Doug Hall, and Jeff Hall; 33 great grandchildren, Jessica (Yardley) Byrn and husband Adam, Levi Yardley, Nathan Yardley, Megan Willard, Jake Willard, Dillion Yardley, Ashley Yardley, Connor Young, Clayton Young, JullianAlkire, JoselynAlkire, Justin Osborn, Nathan Osborn, Casey Fisher and husband Tanner, Lindsey McDonnal, Samantha McDonnal, Bailey Pithan, Benjamin Pithan, BreannaPithan, HannahStotts, Jamacian Carr, Michael Marriott and wife Andrea, Brett Marriott, Monica Marriott, Derek Marriott, Kristen Marriott, Rachel Kline, Charlie Constant, Shelby Constant, Brandon White and wife Chelsey, Dustin White, Tiffany White and Dylan Hall; 9 great-great grandchildren Hunter Byrn, Emilee Byrn, Madison Byrn, Coraline Yardley, Caden Osborn, Avery Sandgren, Preston Fisher, Vivica Marriott and Rylee White; brothers Francis Koehly of Chillicothe, Missouri, and EugeneKoehly of Apple Valley, California; and sisters-in-law Betty Hall and Lois Koehly. She was preceded in death her parents; husband Marvin Hall; brothers Bill Koehly, Joseph Koehly, and Edwin Koehly; sisters Lucille (Koehly) Hoyt-Faubion and Josephine Koehly; son-in-law Charles Marriott; and grandchildren Mark Yardley, Leslie Yardley, Shelley Yardley, Daphne Yardley and Patrick Willard. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, December 12, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call Lindley Funeral Home on Monday, December 12, 2011, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
