Andrew T. Ishmael, age 83, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Andrew was born the son of Samuel and Lossie (Jackson) Ishmael on November 8, 1928 in Laredo, Missouri. On February 13, 1947 he was united in marriage to Marjorie Lee Bennett in Troy, Kansas. She survives of the home. Andrew lived in Laredo all of his life and worked for local farmers. He also drove for the McCarty Truck Lines as well as the Churchill Truck Lines for about 25 years. He was a member of the Laredo Baptist Church of Laredo, Missouri and the Teamster Union Local 41 of Kansas City, Missouri. Andrew is also survived by three sons, Max Ishmael and wife MariaLee of Chillicothe, Missouri; Jim Ishmael and wife Sarah of Gallatin, Missouri; and Andrew Ishmael of Atlanta, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stacy Zorn and husband Andrew of Willow Springs, Missouri, Jason Ishmael and wife Lena of Gallatin, Missouri, Justin Ishmael and wife Katie of Trenton, Missouri, Aaron Ishmael of Gallatin, Missouri, and Courtney Ishmael of Blue Springs, Missouri; two step-grandchildren, Bailey Montgomery of Macon, Missouri, and McKenzie Schrum and husband Devon of Macon, Missouri; and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Claude Ishmael. Services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Interment will be in Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
