Alice M. Parker Alice M. Parker, age 95, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Alice was born the daughter of John and Mary Kutcher on June 6, 1918, in Detroit, Michigan. Alice was united in marriage to Ira J. Parker in August of 1945. He preceded her in death in September of 1980. Alice moved from Detroit, Michigan, to Dallas, Texas, in 1949. She then moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1953. She made her home in Chillicothe, Missouri, in 2001. She worked as an Administrator for the United States Government in Dallas, Texas, for many years. Alice was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, ball room dancing, and square dancing. Survivors include one son, Ron Parker of Kansas City, Missouri; and one daughter, Carol Parker and partner Josephine Martin of Chula, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ira; two sisters, Angeline Phillips and Virginia Kaifesh; and one brother, Art Kutcher. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, December 29, 2013, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest O' Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
