Albert Martin Sieck

ALBERT "BERT" M. SIECK   Albert Martin Sieck, age 96, of Braymer, Missouri died November 1, 2017 at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. He was born the son of Albert M. and Bertha Anne Schulz Sieck on October 2, 1921 in Norfolk, Nebraska.   He was married to Dorothy Elaine Mitchell on June 26, 1954 in Topeka, Kansas, she survives of the home. Bert was a Civil Engineer for Garney Company in Kansas City, Missouri for 40 years. He grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1939. He was a veteran in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. He piloted Mitchell B-52 Bombers in the 22nd Bomb Squadron based in India and China, achieving the rank of Captain. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, American Legion Post 117, Braymer, Missouri, Rotary Club, and the Grand Lodge No. 334 of AF & AM , Breckenridge, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home; three sons, Alexander and wife Debra Sieck, of Hesperia, California, Marty Sieck, Braymer, Missouri, and David and wife Linda Sieck, of Overland Park, Kansas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Sieck, and son, Karl Sieck. Graveside memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, November 10, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. There is no scheduled family visitation.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Tweedy Murry Post 117, Braymer, Missouri and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri.
