Albert Bernard Shaw Albert Shaw, age 88, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Al Bernard was born the son of Ray and Alice (Beckingham) Shaw on January 24, 1927, in Willow Springs, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Myrna Shaw only July 11, 1953, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He attended Chillicothe Schools through his freshman year and then attended Westport High School in Kansas City finishing his senior year in December before joining the Navy. He was on the USS Albermarle AV5 ship and was discharged at age 21 in 1947. Upon returning home he went to a vocational school for plumbing. He worked for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562 for over 50 years. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Survivors include three nieces, Harriett Sappington and husband Bob, of Columbia, Missouri, Audrey Bragg and husband Clark, of Denver, Colorado, and Marcella Baker and husband Howard, of Hale, Missouri; two nephews, Phillip Green and wife Linda, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Keith Green and wife Claudia, of Germany; great-nieces and nephews, Marci Moritz and husband Lee, of Tina, Missouri, Lynnette Ritter and husband Kevin, of Chesapeake, Virginia; Melissa Rizner of Jefferson City, Missouri, Mitchell Green of Jefferson City, Missouri, Sophie Green of Brussels, Belgium, Kilian Green of Munich Germany, Mickey Green of Munich, Germany, Sara Oehlerich of Germany, Susanne Green of Munich, Germany, Michael Sappington of Saarbrucken, Germany, and Erin Sappington Krebs of Boardman, Oregon; and cousin Bill Hann of Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Myrna Shaw; two sisters Veda Clara Shaw and Ree Green and husband Paul. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
