Alan Michael Sage Alan Michael Sage, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Alan was born the son of Ervin and Gladys (Thomas) Sage on July 22, 1947, in Spokane, Washington. He was united in marriage to Melody Huff on September 9, 1967, in Monmouth, Illinois. She survives of the home. Alan worked as a Machine Operator and Farmer for many years. He was a past member of the Chillicothe Eagles Aerie No. 2428 and the Chillicothe Elks Lodge 656. Alan loved hunting, fishing, racing and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include wife, Melody of the home; one daughter, Kimberly Sue Taylor and husband Robert of Trenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Bailey Nicole Dannatt and Coy Alan Taylor; one brother, Dick Sage of Aledo, Illinois; three sisters, Nancy Wheeler of Kirkwood, Illinois, Linda Sage of Galesburg, Illinois, and Donna Sage of Monmouth, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Sharon Bishop, Diane Chewning, and Cindy Bryant. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, November 8, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and also on Sunday, November 8, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
