Ada Ann Lindsey

Ada Ann Lindsey Ada Ann Lindsey, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Saint Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Ada was born the daughter of Orville W. and Pearl Bell (Hutchison) Cassity on October 20, 1926, in Brookfield, Missouri. She moved to Chillicothe, Missouri, with her family in the early 1930's, where she attended Chillicothe schools until she graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1943. She was united in marriage to Wade Lindsey on September 22, 1945, in Trenton, Missouri, where they lived until 1950, until moving back to Chillicothe, Missouri, where they spent the remainder of their lives. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2000. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She loved visiting her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter Wilma Moore and husband Ron of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandchildren, Curtis Moore of Chillicothe, Missouri, Donna M. Shear and husband Todd of Kearney, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Spencer J. Burns of Liberty, Missouri; Lindsey M. Burns and Carson W. Shear of Kearney, Missouri, and Cameron L. Moore of Chillicothe, Missouri; two great-great grandchildren, Landen J. Burns and Wiatt L. Moore of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother-in-law Gene O'Dell of California; two sister-in-laws, Wilma M. (Lindsey) Doolin of California, and May Cassity of Chillicothe, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wade; infant brother Orville Cassity; brother Edward Lee Cassity; sister Elizabeth Ruth (Cassity) O'Dell; daughter Bettie Marie Lindsey. Graveside services will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February, 17, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, February, 16, 2012, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Free Methodist Church in Chillicothe and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
